About Belinda Fairfax

 

Belinda Fairfax established bel people solutions following a successful 20-year career in the Human Resources (HR) field with some of Australia’s most well-known corporations and businesses.

 

Passionate about the positive changes she can make to both individuals and corporations through her executive and career coaching programs, Belinda created bel people solutions to support and promote leadership opportunities and capability, personal and professional growth and cultural change within organisations.

 

Focussing on the individual’s goals and outcomes, Belinda delivers collaborative learning programs that reflect a partnership between coach and client. Setting stretched, but realistic and pragmatic goals, clients are encouraged to develop challenging and stimulating solutions that extend their mindset, where they think outside the “norm”.

 

Well-known for her warmth, charm and sense of humour, Belinda quickly establishes a relationship of trust and honesty, in an open and friendly environment.

 

Belinda’s extensive background in HR began with St George Bank, before she took up the role of Human Resources Manager with Sydney Children’s Hospital.

 

From there she moved to BT Financial Group, again in HR, where she was able to use her strengths in relationship building, influencing, coaching and developing trust. Belinda spent a lot of her time working closely with General Managers of various BT Business Units developing key people strategies to support the execution of the broader business strategy. It was a dream opportunity, giving her the chance to “make a difference” in building capability in individuals, teams and improving business unit and company performance.

“I realised that I had the skills, passion and background to help others make the changes they needed to improve the quality of their working and personal life. Executive and Career coaching became the next stage of my career,” Belinda said.

Since leaving the corporate world to establish bel people solutions, Belinda has already attracted clients from ASX listed companies keen to make the most of her skills and talents.

“I am passionate about learning and giving people the opportunity to do it in an experiential manner. It is not often that we have the opportunity to spend time on ourselves and the coaching framework allows that to occur in a trusting, open environment that is free of judgement.”

Belinda keeps abreast of developments in executive coaching through her memberships with the Institute of Executive Coaching Australia Alumni Community and the Career Development Association of Australia.
